Missing Diver's Body Washes Ashore Near John U. Lloyd State Park in Dania Beach

Authorities are investigating after a man's body washed ashore near John U. Lloyd State Park in Dania Beach Tuesday morning.

The discovery was made just hours after the U.S. Coast Guard suspended their search for a diver who went missing near Fort Lauderdale Saturday.

According to Hollywood Police, a jogger found the body in the water about a mile and half north of the park's entrance.

Authorities confirmed Thursday that the body is that of 45-year-old Marc Raroha, who went diving with two other people approximately one mile off the coast of Fort Lauderdale near Oakland Park Boulevard.

Raroha never resurfaced and the Coast Guard had been searching since Saturday evening.
