Body Washes Up Behind Port Richey Restaurant

Authorities say a body washed up behind a waterfront restaurant in Port Richey.

The body was spotted behind Catches Waterfront Grille around 6 p.m. Sunday.

On Monday, police said the man still hasn't been identified. They don't believe foul play was involved.

The Tampa Bay Times reports police believe the man, who was in his 70s or 80s, may have been running along the nearby shoreline and fell into the water. He was wearing a wind breaker, pants and running shoes.

Authorities didn't say how long he'd been in the water. They are checking with residents in the area who have older family members.
