Bond Set for Ex-Surgeon Accused of Botched Penis Surgery

New information has been released on the case of a former Tamarac doctor accused of mutilating a man's penis.

Mark Schreiber stood before a judge Thursday. The charges he faced included practicing medicine without a license.

The ex-surgeon was arrested after a man claimed Schreiber left him with a severely deformed penis, no sensation during urination and unable to have sexual relations.

The judge said that when police raided the ex-doctor's home, they found evidence he may have been doing clandestine operations on other people.

A couple of years ago, Schreiber went to prison for the same charge.

On Thursday, a judge set Schreiber's bond at $115,000.
