Broward County Sheriff's deputies were responding to an armed robbery at a Boost Mobile location in Deerfield Beach Monday afternoon.
According to police, two masked armed robbers entered the Boost Mobile store at 1668 West Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach just after 12:00 p.m. and locked the door behind them.
The suspects forced the one customer and one employee who were inside into the back office and demanded money from the safe.
Police say the suspects used tape to bind the hands of the employee and customer and left them inside the office.
The pair then escaped through the back door of the business with an undisclosed amount of cash and stolen merchandise, according to police.
The suspects remain on the loose.
