One month after he was released from rehab, Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley was photographed on a boat surrounded by beer bottles, appearing to be passed out.
Less than a month after checking out of a rehab, Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley was photographed on a boat surrounded by open beer bottles and an unidentified woman, both appearing to be passed out.
However, team officials insist that Beasley was merely sleeping, exhausted after a grueling practice session. And that the woman is just a friend.
The picture was posted on TMZ.com, the celebrity website that was the first to break the death of Michael Jackson.
It was taken on October 10 during the Columbus Day Regatta, which is when boats fill Biscayne Bay for a day of nudity, boozing and music.
Team officials told TMZ that the photo was taken during a “fishing trip arranged by the team” - probably the only boat doing any fishing that day. And witness told the South Florida Sun Sentinel that Beasley was not drinking at all.
Beasley checked into a rehab in August after he posted a picture on the internet of his new back tattoo, which also revealed what appeared to be drug paraphernalia on his desk.
