A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured Friday afternoon when he was struck by a car in Hollywood, police said.
The boy was listed in serious condition at Memorial Regional Hospital, according to Hollywood police Sgt. Pablo Vanegas.
The collision happened shortly before 4 p.m. at North 22th Avenue and Sheridan Street. The driver remained at the crash site and was cooperating with the investigation, police said.
The crash site was situated a few blocks east of Interstate 95 on Sheridan Street. The names of those involved haven't been released.
