Boynton Beach Police said Friday night that a man and woman were found dead in a house in a double homicide, The Palm Beach Post reported.
Police were called just before 4:45 p.m. by a man who said he returned home to 982 Old Boynton Road and found his two roommates on the ground and unresponsive, police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater told the newspaper.
Police said about five hours later that the man and woman had been killed.
On Saturday Slater identified the victims as Julixa Espada, 27, and her boyfriend, telling the Sun Sentinel that the boyfriend would not be identified until his family is notified.
The two-bedroom house is in Venetian Park, a neighborhood of single-family homes that is north of Boynton Beach Boulevard and west of I-95, the Sun Sentinel said.
