A panel of city and county leaders met in Fort Lauderdale Thursday morning to discuss Broward County possibly changing its name to Fort Lauderdale County.
Seventy-seven percent of NBC 6 voters said in a survey Thursday that they do not think the name change should happen.
Nineteen percent said they were in favor of it, and 4 percent said they don't care.
