Man Suspected in Over 60 Burglaries in South Florida

A man is suspected in a series of burglaries that spanned two South Florida counties over the last two years.

The Broward Sheriff's Office and Coral Springs Police Department announced 30-year-old Antwan Holston's arrest Thursday in a news conference.

Holston was wanted for over 60 burglaries across Broward and Palm Beach counties, authorities said. He recently hit five businesses Wednesday night, including a Domino's Pizza in Coral Springs.

"He had an appetite for destruction because he ended up smashing the glass in all these businesses and didn’t get anything for it," said Coral Springs police sergeant Ed Derosa.

Holston is also accused of breaking into a Manhattan Bagel in Coral Springs back in November. Authorities had several months' worth of surveillance video on him.

Holston appeared in bond court Thursday. Attorney information was not available.
