Broward Sheriff's Deputies Investigating Bodies Found in Separate Locations Early Wednesday Morning

Broward Sheriff’s deputies are investigating two bodies that were found early Wednesday morning in different locations.

The first body was found around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Pine Island Road and State Road 84. A witness says they heard a splash from a nearby canal and was unable to find the person who went into the water.

Detectives recovered the body, later identified as 26-year-old Patrick Lyons. Officials found no trauma on his body and the investigation into what caused his death is ongoing.

Hours later, police were called to a scene off Southwest 41st Avenue near the overpass to US-441. Officials later identified the victim as 30-year-old Justin Zsigray. As with the first case, no trauma was found on Zsigray’s body, but an investigation continues.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call Broward CrimeStoppers at 954-493-TIPS
