A brush fire was burning in Northwest Miami-Dade late Friday.
Flames were seen in the area of Krome Avenue and Okeechobee Road.
Forestry officials were on the scene. No word on how many acres have burned, but no structures were in danger.
A second brush fire was also burning in Pembroke Pines in the area of Pines Boulevard just west of US 27.
It's believed both fires may have been sparked by lightning strikes.
