Bumbling Burglars Struggle to Steal AC in Tamarac: BSO

The struggle was all too real for a pair of bumbling burglars who spent 15 minutes fumbling as they attempted to steal an air conditioning unit in Tamarac.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the pair are seen on surveillance camera on September 25 behind the Benzer Pharmacy at 5431 North State Road Seven in Tamarac. Deputies believe that around 6 a.m., the pair of white males, believed to be in their mid-20s to early 30s, cut the air conditioning unit from the wall.

Then, in an exchange that could only be better if there were audio, the pair struggle and strategize for 15 minutes making numerous attempts to load the stolen air conditioner onto the pickup truck. They are seen shoving, pushing, tipping and attempting to lift the unit. Looking tired and frustrated, the pair experiment with tag-teaming and solo attempts to no avail.

Finally, the men manage to knock the unit over and push it onto the bed of the truck.

Deputies say the white males are both of a thin build and stand between five-feet-eight-inches and six-feet in height. One of the men has a goatee and medium-length wavy hair tucked under a beanie, while the other has a crew cut hairstyle and is clean shaven.
