A burglary suspect who tried to flee from deputies was foiled when his pants dropped to his ankles and he fell to the ground, authorities said.

Jordan Jefferson Bodden, 19, was taken into custody Sunday night after deputies responded to multiple calls of vehicle burglaries on 16th Avenue North in Lake Worth, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office report obtained by the Sun-Sentinel.

Bodden, who was in handcuffs, tried to take off on foot down the street when his pants fell, knocking him over, deputies said.

He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on three counts of burglary, one count of escape and one count of resisting arrest without violence, records showed. He was being held on $31,000 bond and it was unknown whether he has an attorney.
