Burglary Suspects in Custody After Stolen Car Crash: BSO

Two suspects have been arrested after a burglary spree in Broward ended with one of the suspects crashing a stolen car while trying to flee Tuesday, authorities said.

The incident began with a burglary in Cooper City, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said. The suspects then drove to Pembroke Pines and tried to commit a similar crime, officials said.

Pembroke Pines Police responded and arrested one of the men. The second fled in a stolen Kia and crashed into a truck in the 4800 block of 27th Street in West Park, where he fled the scene on foot, officials said.

Deputies in West Park were able to arrest the suspect a short time later, officials said.

The suspects have been identified as 22-year-old Bryan Lindon and a 17-year-old male. Both face charges of burglary and grand theft. The teen also faces a charge of grand theft auto.

Deputies said they believe the suspects were involved in at least three other similar burglaries.

Two people who were in the truck suffered minor injuries, BSO officials said.
