Bystanders Shot by Arguing Gunmen: Police

Two people are recovering in the hospital after police say they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Miami-Dade Police said the two bystanders were hit by gunfire around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, after two men got into an argument in the area of SW 267th Street and 134th Avenue.

That argument escalated, and the two men shot at each other but missed. Their bullets struck the two bystanders instead.

Police said the gunmen fled the scene. The two victims were transported to Kendall Regional Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
