The Broward Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man they said was caught on camera casing out cars to burglarize.
David Banaszak was arrested on April 16 for a series of burglaries in Tamarac.
BSO said the crimes happened on April 13 in the Sands Point community.
Detectives said security footage from that date showed Banaszak as he looked for unlocked cars in the Sands Point parking lot.
At the time of arrest Banaszak was in possession of burglary tools and some of the stolen property, according to the arrest report.
He faces seven counts of burglary of a conveyance, four counts of petit theft and two counts of grand theft.
