‘Canes Host Pro Day with Special Guest

The Miami Hurricanes hosted its Pro Day Wednesday on the campus of the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables.

Fifteen NFL hopefuls ran drills in front of NFL representatives and scouts. According to the university, all 32 teams were represented, including one unexpected visitor: Bill Belichick.

The five-time Super Bowl winning coach was spotted donning a polo, shorts and flip flops as he spoke with ‘Canes coaches. Despite never moving from one corner of the field, his impact was felt throughout the workout.

Wednesday was Pro Day for the University of Miami Hurricanes.

All eyes were on quarterback Brad Kaaya and tight-end David Njoku. Kaaya only threw passing drills, due to a nagging foot injury, but seemed to impress scouts. He is expected to be drafted in the second or third round.

Njoku ran through the gambit of drills, posting an unofficial time of 4.49 seconds in the forty-yard dash. He is expected to be drafted in the first round.

The 2017 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 27th in Philadelphia.
