Sunrise firefighters extinguished a car fire that slowed traffic in the westbound lanes of West Oakland Park Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters were dispatched to the fire on the 10800 block of W. Oakland Park Blvd. at about 3:30 p.m., Division Chief Jim Dixson said.
They put out the fire, and there were no injuries, he said.
