Car Fire Snarls Traffic on Sawgrass Expressway

A car fire blocked traffic on the Sawgrass Expressway in Broward County early Thursday.

Rescue crews responded to the fire just after 7 a.m. Thursday on the Sawgrass Expressway northbound beyond Oakland Park Boulevard.

Two right lanes were blocked.

There do not appear to be any injuries.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
