A man is expected to be okay Tuesday after a car crashed right into a bedroom of his Lauderhill home as he slept.
Police say the suffered only minor injuries when a driver accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and slammed into the house at 4930 Northwest 16th Court in Lauderhill around 7 a.m.
The driver was not hurt. It is not known whether the driver will receive any citations for the accident.
The house sustained some structural damage. Police say the car crashed several feet into the house.
