Carnival Breeze Sports a Giant, Inflated Balloon Turkey for Thanksgiving

The nylon turkey weighs 1,250 pounds

It's Thanksgiving on the High Seas too, and to celebrate Carnival Cruise Lines inflated a giant 55-foot turkey balloon on the Carnival Breeze on Wednesday.

The 1,250-pound nylon turkey is 14 stories above the water and will remain inflated until the ship leaves on a two-day cruise on Thanksgiving Day. The turkey is wearing a straw hat and colorful shirt.

The Carnival Breeze is the first Carnival ship to be Miami-based in almost a decade, and it is the largest Carnival vessel at PortMiami.

The company will also donate 137,500 meals to the Feeding South Florida food bank for people in need.
