A Central Florida man found himself looking for another Uber driver after the first one he requested allegedly sent him a request for a sex act.

Matthew Marston told NBC affiliate WESH-TV that he called for a vehicle from the ride-sharing service early Monday morning to get to work when he got a message back from the driver.

The message said in part "Hey, I'll give you a free ride if you let me (commit a sexual act)."

"I was shocked. It felt uncomfortable," Marston said. "Of course I cancelled the Uber. But I was uncomfortable calling another Uber. You know, I was thinking about calling out of work," Marston said.

Martson, who called for another car in the service, said Uber charged him a $5 fee for cancelling the ride. A spokesperson from the company told the station that was refunded.

Uber said they are investigating the incident and the driver while also looking into if someone other than that driver, who has not been identified, was the one who sent the message.
