A Cooper City chiropractor was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly fondled and sexually battered a female patient, the Broward Sheriff's Office said. Enrique Tomas Rodriguez, 45, is charged with one count of sexual battery, records show. Rodriguez's attorney, Myles H. Malman, denied the charges on behalf of his client.

"Dr. Rodriguez emphatically denies these charges and looks forward to the opportunity to clear his good name. He is a skilled Chiropractor and practitioner who has an excellent reputation. He is confident that he will be vindicated and put this matter behind him and looks forward to the opportunity to do so," Malman said in a statement Wednesday.
The 22-year-old victim told authorities she had been going to see Rodriguez at Quantum Chiropractic located at 2565 N. Hiatus Road in Cooper City for two months, a release said. During a June visit, she said Rodriguez fondled and sexually battered her against her will, the sheriff's office said.
