Someone's party is going to be a bust this weekend.
The U.S. Coast Guard claims they seized nearly 10,000 pounds of cocaine worth $100 million on two separate days last month.
On August 18th, a Customs and Border Protection aircraft spotted a suspicious Panamanian-flagged vessel of the coast of Honduras.
The Coast Guard searched the freighter and found 8,150 pounds of cocaine, which was confiscated and the nine people on board were detained.
And on August 24th, a go-fast vessel carrying more than 2,000 pounds of cocaine was intercepted and 47 bales of cocaine worth an estimated $22 million was seized.
Since Oct. 1, 2008, area Coast Guard crews have seized 39,311 pounds of cocaine.
