Coast Guard crews rescued three people and a dog from a capsized boat of the Florida Keys Sunday, officials said.

Rescue crews found three people and a dog on top of the hull of a sunken boat in the vicinity of Barn Sound after receiving a report of a disabled 21-foot motor vessel, according to a Coast Guard news release.

Coast Guard officials said the survivors were not wearing life jackets and urge all boaters to carry them on board.
