Key West's Conch Republic Independence Day Celebration wrapped up Sunday with an offbeat bed race.
The Conch Republic Red Ribbon Bed Race featured decorated beds on wheels making their way up the famed Duval Street by costumed team members.
The annual 10-day festival celebrates the day the Florida Keys staged a mock secession from the United States after the U.S. Border Patrol installed a roadblock at the top of the Florida Keys Overseas Highway.
