Cops Stumped After Man Found Shot in Opa Locka

All four victims were alive when they were taken to the hospital just before midnight Wednesday,

Police are looking for answers after a man was found shot in the street in Opa Locka early Thursday morning.

Officers arrived at the scene, at The Gardens Apartments on Aswan Rd., around 1 a.m. and found the man laying on the ground in bad shape with one gunshot wound, according to police.

The victim was airlifted to Jackson Memorial, where his condition is unknown.

"Officers responded to a shots fired call here in The Gardens apartments," said Corporal Michael Steel, with the Opa Locka Police. "When officers arrived on the scene we did find one victim. He was shot one time."

Authorities haven't said what the motive was behind the shooting.
