Crews were on-scene in Miami Beach Saturday repairing a water main break.
Full water service was restored to Miami Beach after a 20-inch water main broke and caused some street flooding on Purdy Avenue on Saturday.
The break on Purdy Avenue and Dade Boulevard was in the Sunset Harbour are at 1928 Sunset Harbour Drive. Crews responded around 9 a.m.and residents experienced low water pressure for most of the day. A precautionary boil water advisory will be issued to affected residents and businesses.
Restaurant owners had placed sandbags outside their businesses as water was quickly seeping in.
The cause was not immediately known.
A small water break was also discovered at 320 West Rivo Alto at Purdy Avenue. Water on the island was temporarily shut off. Crews are repairing it.
