Authorities are searching for a crook who attached a skimmer to an ATM at a Cooper City bank.
The incident happened Saturday morning at the Bank of America branch at 5504 S. Flamingo Road, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Around 11 a.m., a customer noticed the card slot piece wasn't completely flush with the machine, and was being held on with double-sided tape.
Surveillance footage showed the man placing the 2-inch long device on the machine at 9:08 a.m.
The suspect had a beard and wore a blue ball cap, T-shirt and jacket. Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
