DNA Leads Police to Alleged Sexual Battery Suspect: MDPD

Miami-Dade Police used DNA evidence to arrest a man for attempted rape, according to investigators.

MDPD said Donnell Johnson, 46, forced his way into a home on April 27 and tried to sexually assault a 75-year-old woman.

Police said they found Johnson's DNA on a condom wrapper left at the scene.

He is facing several charges including attempted sexual battery. It's unknown whether he has an attorney.
