A Miami Gardens family is upset over a video on YouTube that shows a family member drowning.

Luis Aldiva's dad was swimming in Puerto Rico last month when he became caught against two giant rocks while the waves pounded. A tourist was filming as two people tried to save the man, and the video eventually shows him lifeless and being pulled into a rescue boat.

"It's ridiculous, it's disgusting" Aldiva told WPTV, and is trying to get YouTube to take the video down, hoping that taking his story to the media will help his cause.

A Google representative, parent company to YouTube, suggested flagging the video, which is called "Tragedia en Arecibo Wapa tv," and if Google decides it does not meet "community guidelines" it will be removed.

The response was little comfort to Aldiva.

"Stop using my Dad," he said. "Leave my Dad alone, let him rest in peace."
