A precautionary boil water notice was issued for parts of Davie Monday after a water main break.
The break happened while a construction crew was working on Old Griffin Road east of the Florida Turnpike, city officials said.
As a result, the boil water notice was issued for businesses and residents between State Road 7 west to the Florida Turnpike and from the New River Canal south to Stirling Road.
Officials advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.
