Dillard High School and Elementary School were placed on lockdown Tuesday morning as Fort Lauderdale Police searched for someone who was trespassing on school property, officials said.
Police and K-9 officers responded to the school at 2501 Northwest 11th Street around 8 a.m.
The suspect was taken into custody and the lockdown was lifted, police said.
No other information was immediately known.
