Half of dozen divers played their cards in the first underwater poker tournament held in Pompano Beach Sunday.
The group competed aboard the casino-themed Lady Luck at Shipwreck Park. The six finalists won a free dive trip after making it through the qualifying rounds, which were held online.
Jessica Beebe won the final championship, receiving a trophy and prizes. She will be featured on Scuba Nation TV. Beebe will also be the first diver to tour the Okinawa when it sink on Aug. 19 off Pompano Beach.
