Dolphins Annihilate Raiders in London

The Dolphins picked up their second win of the season with a 38-14 blowout of the Raiders on Sunday

The Miami Dolphins put on a show in London on Sunday with their decisive 38-14 win over the Oakland Raiders.

The game which was the second in team history in London was dominated by the Dolphins from the second quarter on. After falling behind early, the Dolphins scored 21 points in the second quarter and an additional 14 in the third.

Ryan Tannehill enjoyed a fine game with two touchdown passes as part of a 23-31 day. Tannehill did throw an interception late in the third quarter with the game already well in hand. The quarterback threw for 278 total yards and likely put to rest any further talk of losing his job.

Lamar Miller wasn't quite as productive as he was in week three but he still had a good game. Miller who continues to fill in for the injured Knowshon Moreno rushed for 64 yards on 12 carries. Miller also ran it into the end zone twice for his first two touchdowns of the year.

Tannehill had his ground game working as well on Sunday as he ran with the ball five times himself for 35 yards. Daniel Thomas also joined the fun with five carries for 35 yards including one for 15 itself.

The yards in the air were spread around with Brian Hartline picking up the bulk of the productivity. Hartline caught six passes for 74 yards while Mike Wallace had 35 yards on his three catches. Wallace also recorded a touchdown reception to give him three on the season.

Brent Grimes and Jimmy Wilson had an interception each as Miami and Oakland tied with three turnovers each. The Dolphins fumbled the ball away twice with Miller and Jarvis Landry each losing one.

The Dolphins will now have their bye week before returning on October 12th with a game against the Green Bay Packers at Sun Life Stadium.
