Dolphins' Cameron Out Thursday With Concussion

Jordan Cameron will be out of action in Thursday's Dolphins game with a concussion

Miami Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron will miss Thursday's game with a concussion.

This is not the first concussion of Cameron's career and Miami will likely be cautious with the veteran. In addition to Thursday's game against Cincinnati, Cameron could potentially miss additional time.

The Dolphins are 1-2 this season and are coming off their first win of the season. Cameron has played well and his loss will undoubtedly be noticed. Miami is reeling in terms of injuries as it is with Arian Foster unlikely to suit up for the game as well.

With Cameron out of action, the main beneficiary for playing time figures to be Dion Sims. The 25-year old is second on the depth chart at TE and had four receptions in Sunday's win. Sims is a more than capable backup, but Ryan Tannehill will still likely feel shorthanded in the game in Cincinnati.

Thus far on the season, Cameron has accumulated 60 yards on eight catches. Cameron also had a touchdown reception during a loss to the New England Patriots.

In addition to Cameron and Foster, Mike Pouncey remains questionable for the game. Pouncey has yet to play this season with a hip injury. Miami could have its starting center back for the game, but he will likely need some time to find a rhythm again with Tannehill regardless.

Thursday's game will start at 8:25 p.m
