Dolphins Continue to Struggle in Loss to Titans

The Dolphins fell to 1-4 with their 30-17 loss to the Titans on Sunday in Miami

The Miami Dolphins fell for the fourth time this season with their 30-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Miami is now 1-4 and has lost two decisions in a row. With the Titans sitting at 1-3 entering the game, this was a game that the Dolphins could have won. Instead, Miami finds itself in a tough spot and with a rough road to contention ahead of it. The game was played at Hard Rock Stadium and represented Miami's first home loss of the season.

It was another tough day for Ryan Tannehill who was on the ground too often and rushed other times. Tannehill ended up being sacked six times for a total of 42 yards. Miami's quarterback also threw two interceptions, and is on pace to set a new career-high in that department. Tannehill converted no touchdowns during a 12-18 day in the air.

The crowd in Miami's home building could be heard chanting "We Want Moore" at times, which was a reference to backup QB Matt Moore. While it is unlikely Miami makes a change at quarterback, many of the fans made their opinions on the subject known clearly.

Miamis two touchdowns on the day came via the team's legs rather than Tannehill's arm. Jay Ajayi ran one ball into the end zone and Jakeem Grant returned a punt for a TD. Grant's return was good for 74 yards and was easily the most exciting play of the day for Miami. Grant also added 26 yards on his lone kick return.

The Dolphins will host the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday in what could be a difficult game for Miami.
