The Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons had their preseason game relocated to Orlando on Wednesday.

The game which will be played on August 25th was originally set to take place in Miami. Now, the contest will take place at Camping World Stadium instead with the Dolphins still serving as the home team. The game will the third contest of the preseason and the first home game for Miami.

The Dolphins are already set to play their first two preseason games on the road to give extra time to construction crews in Miami. Now, that work will have an additional week if needed. The Dolphins believe that stadium renovations will be completed in time for the fourth week of the preseason.

The announcement of this relocation came on the same day that the NFL officially moved the Pro Bowl as well. The annual game featuring All-Stars will take place in Orlando on the same field instead of in Hawaii as in years past. The preseason game between the Dolphins and Falcons will give the league a chance to see if any alterations are needed at the stadium ahead of the Pro Bowl.

Season ticket holders will be given the first chance to buy tickets for the game in Orlando during a presale on June 6th. Following that, the tickets will be available to the general public on June 9th.

Miami will begin the preseason on August 12th against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
