Dolphins' Suh and Wake Named to Pro Bowl

Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake were named to the 2017 Pro Bowl on Tuesday

The Miami Dolphins will be represented by Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake at the 2017 Pro Bowl.

The full roster was announced on Tuesday by the National Football League, and the pair of selections for Miami come as little surprise. Both Suh and Wake have been big reasons for Miami's success this season.

This will be Suh's fifth Pro Bowl and his first since joining the Dolphins. Suh missed last year's festivities due to a down year, but has found his stride in a big way this season. The veteran tackle is third in tackles for Miami with his 62 and also has five sacks. Suh has also pressured quarterbacks and landed some big hits all season long.

Wake's selection was earned, but was not something that could be expected before the season began. The veteran missed part of last season due to an Achilles injury, and also was not named to the Pro Bowl. This marks Wake's fifth selection to the Pro Bowl as well and his first since 2015.

Thus far this season, Wake leads Miami with 10.5 sacks and has been a dominant force in nearly every game. The 34-year old appears to have found the fountain of youth, and could have plenty left in the tank.

While the two selections are nice for Miami, the team easily could have had even more players headed to the Pro Bowl. The offense for the Dolphins has been stellar at times, especially in the running department. Jay Ajayi has enjoyed a fine season, even after starting the year as a backup. Ajayi could find himself in the Pro Bowl next year if he keeps up this level of production.

The Pro Bowl will take place on January 29, 2017 in Orlando.
