A female customer claims Doral massage therapist improperly touched her.
Another woman has come forward claiming a massage therapist at Doral Golf Resort and Spa sexually assaulted her during a massage, a lawsuit filed Thursday said.
Lynn Scruggs alleges in the civil suit that masseur David Munoz improperly touched her during a body scrub in September. The North Florida resident was in town for a wedding, she said at a press conference Thursday.
Munoz, 27, has been arrested twice - in February and May - for the sexual assaults of two female customers at Doral spa.
After the February arrest, Munoz allegedly admitted to Miami-Dade police that he "lost his head" during some massage sessions. He has not been charged in the alleged Scruggs incident, but her attorney said she will file a police report.
Munoz is currently out on bond. His attorney, Ricardo Hermida, said he could not comment on the newest allegations against his client.
Scruggs is holding Doral spa responsible because Munoz was already being investigated for the other alleged sexual assaults but was still allowed to massage women, the lawsuit said.
The lawsuit alleges Munuz took her into a private room for a body scrub and massage and that's when the assault took place, the lawsuit claims.
He then apologized to the woman and begged her not to tell anyone, the lawsuit claims.
Scruggs and her friends complained too management at Doral, who took her statement in the parking lot, but did not tell the customer that Munoz was already under investigation for similar incidents, the lawsuit said.
Doral spa did not immediately comment on the new lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages.
