Dwayne Wade took to Instagram Monday night to thank everyone for their well wishes for his 8-year-old son who just returned home from the hospital.
Wade missed Thursday night's game verses the Utah Jazz to be with his son, Zion, at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
The Heat star did not disclose why his son was hospitalized.
Wade returned to practice Saturday.
In the Instagram post, Wade thanked the staff at Nicklaus Children's Hospital for taking care of Zion and the Wade family. He also thanked everyone for their gifts, visits, prayers and well wishes.
Wade signed off the post with the hashtags #afatherslove and #Afatherfirst.
He's expected to play as the Heat take on the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday night.
