Crews dealt with an early morning fire in Miami Gardens just blocks from Hard Rock Stadium that injured one man Thursday.
The blaze was reported just before 6 a.m. off NW 199th Street and 37th Avenue, with multiple crews responding.
Neighbors described hearing the homeowner, who they identified as Jose, screaming from inside the home. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Lt. Felipe Lay said that one man was taken to the hospital and that four dogs inside the home are okay.
However, three other dogs are unaccounted for. No other homes were damaged in the fire.
