Eight Stranded on Air Boat in Everglades: BSO

Eight adults were stranded in the Everglades Thursday evening after their air boat experienced a mechanical failure, authorities said.
The Broward Sheriff's Office said the boat was located about one mile west of the Miami River and 10 miles north of Interstate 75.

Dispatch received the call just after 6 p.m. Broward Sheriff's Office Fire Rescue said they are assisting the passengers.
No one was reported injured.
