A 55-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after police claim she tried to rob a bank and then backed out.

The unidentified woman allegedly calmly walked up to a teller at the SunTrust Bank in Coral Springs and handed her a note. But before she could get any cash, the aged bank robber turned around and walked out of the door.

Maybe she forgot why she came in the bank in the first place.

Either way, she didn't get far because the teller had already alerted cops of the attempted bank robbery. They nabbed the woman just a few steps outside the bank.

The SunTrust is still closed while cops investigate the crime.
