Escaped Inmate Found in Cutler Bay Thursday Morning

Marv Hubbard left community work detail without authorization, officials said

Authorities say they have found an inmate on Thursday morning who left a community work detail in Homestead the day before.

Officers confirmed to NBC 6 shortly after 7 a.m. that 40-year-old Marv A. Hubbard was found at a gas station near the intersection of US 1 and Southwest 200th Street in Cutler Bay.

The escape was reported Wednesday afternoon in the area of Southwest 312th Street and Southwest 137th Avenue. Hubbard was on the work release program and had walked off the job without authorization, officials said.

Police released surveillance photos taken at Farm Share in Homestead showing Hubbard jumping a gate and walking on foot.
