Ex-Cop Sentenced in Daytona Beach Drug Ring

51-year-old Anthony Annatone Jr. pleaded no contest to the drug charge and was found guilty on Wednesday.

Officials say a former Daytona Beach police officer will serve a three-year mandatory minimum prison sentence for dealing in Oxycodone.

The state attorney's office in Daytona Beach says 51-year-old Anthony Annatone Jr. pleaded no contest to the drug charge and was found guilty on Wednesday.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports Annatone was also fined $50,000.

The FBI conducted a two-year investigation into Annatone, which resulted in his arrest. His son, 26-year-old Aaron Annatone, pleaded no contest in March and was sentenced to 10 years in state prison.
