It was an international Mafioso roundup in South Florida today as FBI agents working with Italian authorities staged an early morning raid on mobsters in Miami.

At least three suspects believed to be part of the Cosa Nostra crime syndicate were rounded up in Miami in the 5:30 a.m. bust which was coordinated with arrests in New York and Sicily.

The three arrested in Miami are Roberto Settineri, 41, Daniel Dronerhauser, 39, and Enrique Ross, 33.

The suspects were brought to the FBI's South Florida headquarters in North Miami-Dade.

Italian national police in Rome said that 20 warrants have been issued on the Palermo-based group so far, and that six arrests were made in the United States.

The crime family is suspected of running extortion, money laundering and drug trafficking operations.

Three of the U.S. arrests included a suspected member of the Gambino crime family and his two sons in New York. The trio were arrested on bankruptcy fraud charges for allegedly hiding assets after their trucking company went bankrupt.

A video released by Italian police showed authorities uncovering weapons in the Palermo raids, including a gun hidden in a refrigerator.
