FBI Releases Photos of Tamarac Bank Robber

The FBI is releasing surveillance photos from a bank robbery in Tamarac Friday morning in hopes of catching the person responsible.

Police say someone walked into the Chase Bank located at 6001 North University Drive at approximately 10:14 a.m. Friday and demanded money from a teller.

Customers were inside the bank at the time. Police say no one was injured.

The robber stole an undisclosed amount of money before taking off.

The FBI believes the same suspect is responsible for bank robberies in Plantation in January and February and another Tamarac bank robbery earlier this month.

Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI at 754-703-2000 or the Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
