The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of robberies who held up two South Florida banks.

On Aug. 22, there was a robbery at a Chase Bank branch at 5096 North Dixie Highway in Oakland Park and on Oct. 19, the Bank of America branch at 3030 Davie Blvd.

The FBI also released a sketch of a person seen leaving the area of the Oct. 19 robbery. Authorities believe that the getaway car in the Aug. 22 robbery may be a black Monte Carlo SS. The getaway car in the later robbery may be silver, they said.

Anyone with information was urged to call the FBI at 305-944-9101.
