Police had to box this vigilante in order to get him to stop. He was to concerned with fighting the terrorists than to stop.
Nearly a year after a mother and her two daughters were robbed at gunpoint by three men who pulled their car over and posed as cops, one of the fake officers has been arrested, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Brandon Knittle, 19, is charged with three counts of impersonating an officer, three counts of armed kidnapping, two counts of robbery with a firearm and one count of burglary in the November 2009 incident.
According to police, the robbery happened on Nov. 5, 2009 in the 3600 block of Southwest 39 St. in West Park.
That's where Knittle and his two cohorts allegedly pulled the mother and daughters, who had been shopping at Aventura Mall, over with a flashing blue light on an unmarked Dodge Charger.
The fake cops came out of their car with guns drawn and identified themselves as police officers. But when two of them approached the car, they started robbing the women, stealing two purses with $900 cash, credit cards and other personal items inside.
Knittle was finally picked up on Wednesday and is being held in jail.
